Ceilidhe and I hit it off from our first e-mail exchange when I realized we both shared the habit of overusing the exclamation mark in our correspondence! And it all made good sense upon meeting her for the first time. C has the ability to command the attention of an entire room with her boisterous personality and beauty. It's tough to miss her!
I knew that Mike was good peoples when I understood that he was missing a big hockey game on a Friday night to chat about wedding business with us two gals. Clearly, he would do just about anything for his sweetheart. The man has a wickedly dry sense of humour and can cook up a storm to boot! Bonus!
A little later that summer of 2010, we met up one beautiful evening in the Glebe for their engagement session around their fun neighbourhood. I love when a couple is able to incorporate a location that is symbolic to them for their session.
Fast forward fifteen months later and many fun times out together, The Day had finally come for Ms. Wynn to become Mrs. Coxford last August. Cat & I started off that day with the girls at Mike's mum's place for Getting Ready shots:
Ceilidhe hand-made each guest invitation with supplies from The Papery in between writing for her Masters!
MOH Meaghan was by C's side every step of the wedding planning process.
There were lovely hydrangeas in the decor throughout the entire day. Florals were arranged by Wild Willy's
The bride wore a dress from All That Glitters Bridal and gold shoes by Jessica Simpson
Ceilidhe had her mani/pedi and make-up done by the Third Avenue Spa.
A bracelet and a stunner of a ring by Swarovski added even more sparkle to her look

This one is a personal favourite of mine...just breathtaking girl!
Ceilidhe's unique veil and hairpiece came from Ottawa milliner Chapeaux de Madeleine
The girls had their hair done at The Loft

Then we met up with the groom...handsome devil! Mike chose a suit by Hugo Boss and a tie by Armani for his big day
Each guest took home a pot of individually assigned loose tea leaves, again all handwritten by the bride.
Sneaking a peak as the guests arrive for the ceremony at The Courtyard Restaurant
Sealed with a Kiss!
Mr & Mrs Coxford
The beautiful bridesmaids wore complimentary styles from J. Crew in Casablanca blue

Mike's support team was a stylish lot in suits by Alfred Sung + shirts and ties by Calvin Klein
Fancy socks Mr. C!
Shannon Kennedy and the team at The Courtyard did a fabulous job overseeing every detail of the ceremony and reception that followed.
Each guest received home-baked shortbread cookies in cute pink take-out favours.
Swoon-worthy late afternoon light...
A couple after my own heart, Ceilidhe and Mike honeymooned in my favourite place in the whole world, Tuscany.
I am so excited to see what this next chapter holds for the two of you! Thank you for including me in this part of your love journey...for becoming far more than 'clients', but my friends!
It's bbq season...just sayin'! ; )
